Fixed the email

Well I am back on email, phew. Had to do a fancy shuffle-shuffle and set email on another computer so that I could have a computer dedicated to logistics. In the process there was a small glitch and for 18 hours we had no email. You can believe what kind of bad guy I was with the team!!! But we are back in business now and I have a dedicated computer for my needs. Finally.

Another week gone indeed. Still I am tired and frustrated lots these days but mostly because I haven't taken time for my self in the hustle and bustle of life here. Two weekends ago I had to go to Monrovia and the whole weekend was travel and work (a small time trip to the beach was nice though). This past weekend we had two parties (two of our team are set to leave Sanniquellie today) and we tried to do a group trip to Guinea to visit the chimpanzees. It was a failed attempt, for after 2.5 hrs of driving over terrible roads to the Guinea border we fell flat with the crossing and so we had to turn back. Bummer. All that to say that there has not been enuf sleep.

I am determined, today, to restart my routine and ensure work starts and ends on time. I shan't allow myself to be diverted into work as I have these last two weeks. As for vacation, I have 15 days of vacation allotment. It is suggested by the company that the first vacation occur about the three-month mark. I could go to Gambia or Ghana, that is the local spots it seems. Most of the books I am reading are ones I brought (tho I am flying thru them, started We were the Mulvanies last night) but we have quite a library and so I am picking thru them as well. There have been lots of expats floating thru and Dec, Jan will see a bunch more movement of expats so we should have another infusion of books for the team.
